Health Connect (Android)
On Android, health data syncs through Health Connect.
What it is
Health Connect is Android's health data hub (the Apple Health equivalent). Through it, Avitra reads steps, sleep, heart metrics and other data from your phone and watch apps.
How to connect
- Open Profile → Integrations.
- Choose Health Connect and tap "Connect".
- Grant permissions in the Health Connect sheet — choose which data to allow.
Mi Fitness and other apps
Data from Xiaomi, Samsung and other vendors flows through Health Connect: enable sync in the vendor app (e.g. Mi Fitness → sync with Health Connect) and the data will reach Avitra.
Common issues
- No data — check that the vendor app writes to Health Connect and that Avitra has permission to read it (Health Connect → App permissions).
- Health Connect not installed — on older Android phones you need to install it from Google Play.
- Data is delayed — sync runs automatically when the app opens; reopen Avitra.
