Food diary: how to log your meals
Add food by photo, voice, barcode or manually — all methods in one place.
How to add food
- In the Food tab (or on the home screen) tap the + "Add food" button.
- Pick a meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack.
- Choose a method:
- Photograph your dish — AI recognises the food;
- Say what you ate — voice input;
- Scan a barcode — for packaged products;
- Enter manually — search the database or create your own product.
Managing entries
- Tap an entry in the diary to change its amount or meal, or delete it.
- Amounts can be set in grams or millilitres (the "Measure unit" setting).
- Frequently eaten dishes live under "My meals" — add them in a couple of taps.
What is calculated
The home screen always shows: calories left, how much you have eaten, how much you burned, and your protein, carbohydrate and fat progress against your daily goals.
Common issues
- No internet connection — adding food requires a connection; entries are not saved without it, so try again once you are back online.
- Calories look wrong — check the amount: label values are usually per 100 g, and your portion may be larger or smaller.
