Privacy and data protection
How your data is protected: encryption, on-device face blurring and no ad tracking.
Core principles
- Your data is yours. Health and nutrition data is used only for app features — we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
- No tracking. Avitra does not track you across other apps or websites, which is why the app never asks for tracking permission.
- Encrypted transport. All data between the app and the server travels over an encrypted connection.
The most sensitive data stays on your device
- Faces in body photos are blurred automatically on the phone, before saving — your original face is never uploaded.
- Live workout analysis runs on the device — video is never uploaded or stored.
- Health data — Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android) are read on your phone under the permissions you grant. If you connect Withings, Fitbit or Garmin, selected data is received from those services with your consent.
Your rights (GDPR)
- Get your data — Profile → "Export data".
- Delete your data — Profile → "Delete account".
- Manage consents — health integration and other consents are managed in the app.
- Request corrections — see "Data correction requests".
