Logging weight and the trend curve
Log your weight regularly and watch the trend, not day-to-day swings.
How to log weight
- In the Body or Stats tab, tap "Log weight".
- Enter the value in kilograms and tap "Save weight".
Weight can also sync automatically from connected smart scales (e.g. Withings) or Apple Health — the value then appears by itself after you weigh in.
The weight trend
In the Stats tab you will see your weight history and the weight trend. Why does the trend matter more than single readings?
- Daily weight fluctuates with water, salt and meal timing — up to 1–2 kg per day.
- The trend smooths out these swings and shows the real direction.
When to weigh in
- Best — in the morning, before eating, after the bathroom, under similar conditions.
- A few times a week is enough; daily weigh-ins are fine if you do not over-read single spikes.
Common issues
- Weight from your scales not appearing? Check the integration status under Profile → Integrations and that the scales synced with their own app (e.g. Withings).
- Duplicate entries? If you log both manually and via scales, you may see several entries on the same day — keep the more accurate one.
Reminder
To avoid forgetting, enable the weight reminder under Profile → Notification settings.
